What Color Goes With Blue?

April 18, 2022

hey there, I'm Valerie!

Despite my ability to design your space so that it is as beautiful as possible, it is ultimately the space itself that speaks of your story, clearly shows your vision, and conveys your personality.

Blue – is the color of the earth’s atmosphere and everyone’s favorite because it’s a classic and eternal color. Having the hint of a calm sea and open atmosphere, blue is a pigment that fills the home with classic beauty. This color is equally great for vibrant backdrops, minimal aesthetics, and a warm ambiance. So, if you want to add blue to your home but don’t know how to pair the color, check out the color palette combinations to inspire you.

1.     Hot Pink:

A combination of vibrant blue and neon pink colors is everything you need to add vibrancy to your place. Hot pink is an eye-catching, adventurous, and intense hue of pink that makes the blue pop out – pretty fascinating, right? We love a hot pink sofa set with blue walls! It’s the most significant proof that two opposites attract each other.

2. Creams & Off-Whites :

When you are trying to create a classic theme in your home, nothing works better than white, off-whites, and creams with blue. Many people stick to stark white, but cream and off-whites create a warm ambiance space. Accessorize with wood-colored lamps, a nice patterned rug, and glass vases with yellow flowers for some freshness.

3. Create A Rainbow:

Well, we are simply saying that blue goes well with every color. Blue takes center stage with a deep blue couch; the backdrop highlights bright hues that add to the room. Not to forget, a black and white rug and wooden console are perfectly tuning with the living room, and a contemporary table completes the look.

4. Marigold:

The marigold accent chairs and the vibrant color painting add boldness. The total space can be punctuated with the marigold hues when decorated with the saturated and bold blue color. Honestly, it’s the simplest way of adding color to a bright background.

5. Purple:

The deep mauve and eggplant colors add romance and elegance to the room, especially blue. The addition of a greige chest drawer and white walls is toning down the shades while a metallic chandelier dresses up the room. Not to forget, the grey upholstery in one of the sofas brings out a more relaxed accent without clashing with the colors.

6. Forest Green:

When you don’t want to overpower the space with blue color but still want to bring attention to the room, you need to add an accent piece in a forest green color. The forest green sofa shares the spotlight with deep blue color while white lamps and light soften the space. Not to forget, the golden add sophistication to the look.
